Who we are
A local initiative with an eye on the future.
Élhető Boglár Kör is a local community initiative. We founded it in September 2026 to bring people together around the long-term future of Balatonboglár and Szőlőskislak.
We believe a town truly feels like home when we talk with one another—not past one another—about the changes shaping it. We are not here to hand out ready-made answers. We want to ask good questions, bring different perspectives together and create opportunities for genuine conversation.

We want Boglár and Kislak to remain—and continue to develop as—a town where people enjoy living, while preserving and passing on our natural, community and cultural heritage.

We make room for shared thinking.

We reach out to people whose knowledge, experience, interests or responsibilities are connected to Boglár’s future.
We look for a shared direction
Together, we explore quality of life, sustainability, Lake Balaton’s carrying capacity, housing, tourism and local community life.
Professional municipal leadership
We take an active role in shaping a new, professional approach to leading our town.
How we work
We do not have to agree on everything.
But we do agree that shared concerns deserve more than quick answers. Our work is built on trust, openness, transparency and personal responsibility.
